A Rainy Christmas

It’s Christmas Day in Cotacachi, and it’s raining. It started out beautiful and sunny with a clear sky, then clouded over and started to pour. I guess it’s better than snow. Or maybe it’s just different. We don’t really mind because we have a wonderful fire going, and we just returned from a delicious Christmas lunch in Puertolago (on Laguna de San Pablo, Otavalo) with our friends Beverly and Jack.

We would also like to take this opportunity to wish all of our friends and family members a joyous holiday season, and hope that the new year brings wisdom and compassion to all of us.
